As a non-government registered charity, HCNZ relies, in large part, on donations to achieve our mission of being the country’s national Holocaust education and remembrance centre.
We need your help to ensure that the memory and lessons of the Holocaust remain in the present and stay relevant in the future. We specifically need your support in undertaking essential activities such as research, teaching, recording survivor testimonies and human rights education.
Your contribution will assist us in saving and preserving vital Holocaust history, educating future generations and standing up to prejudice and discrimination, through the following activities:
Written & oral history archives
Remembrance and commemorative events
Children’s Button Memorial
Production costs for audio-visual interviews of Holocaust survivors
New exhibitions and lectures.
How Your Donation Can Help…
Donations over $5.00 are tax deductible in New Zealand.
Donations over $10,000 will be permanently acknowledged on our “Honour Board”
Save vital Holocaust evidence & artefacts
Help us preserve text/audio & video-based testimonies and historic artefacts of NZ Holocaust survivors that truly honours and remembers them.
Educate future generations
Help us equip New Zealand teachers with the resources and knowledge to educate primary, secondary and tertiary students throughout the country about the Holocaust.
Preserve the truth of the Holocaust
We can make historic Holocaust material - specifically relating to New Zealand – digitally available to people throughout Australasia and beyond.
