Support our mission
History does not safeguard itself. At a time when antisemitism and racial intolerance are rising in New Zealand, the work of the Holocaust Centre has never been more urgent.
Every dollar you contribute is directly translated into action – equipping young New Zealanders with the critical thinking, empathy, and moral courage required to stand up against prejudice in their own communities.
Your investment ensures that the voices of Holocaust survivors continue to be heard, that historical truth is defended, and that "Never Again" remains a concrete promise rather than a hollow phrase.
True change requires sustained energy. By choosing a recurring monthly gift, you become a part of a dedicated group of New Zealanders securing the long-term future of Holocaust education in our country.
Consistent monthly funding allows us to plan ahead, expand our regional outreach, and respond dynamically to discrimination wherever it emerges.
Make a lasting impact
Choose your impact
In Jewish tradition, the number 18 signifies Chai - life. Our giving amounts are built around these meaningful multiples, allowing you to see exactly how your contribution fuels real-world educational outcomes across New Zealand.
The Holocaust Centre of New Zealand is a registered charity. All donations of $5.00 or more are tax-deductible.
What your donation can go towards:
-
Helps fund essential historical texts and survivor testimonies to be placed into New Zealand school libraries, ensuring young people have permanent access to verified historical facts.
-
Subsidises our core curriculum-aligned sessions. Your donation provides a vital funding bridge that helps a classroom of students experience an immersive, highly impactful learning module.
-
Many local schools face intense transport hurdles. This amount helps charter a dedicated school bus to transport an entire class to and from the Centre within the Wellington region
-
Prejudice is not confined to major cities. This contribution funds a specialist Holocaust educator to travel and deliver a critical, full or half-day intensive learning workshop anywhere in New Zealand.
-
Helps us reach students who would otherwise miss out. This amount funds a domestic return flight for our educational team to run out-of-town seminars, or entirely covers a full-day intensive workshop for a school.
