What teacher alumni from previous seminars say

The Holocaust Centre of New Zealand has provided one of the best professional development seminars I have ever attended. Before I met Kris and attended a seminar, I thought I was teaching the Holocaust well. Since attending continuous professional development with the centre, my knowledge and skills have increased immensely.
— History teacher, Canterbury (Participant, 2025 Seminar)
The professional development offered by the Holocaust Centre goes above and beyond regular PD, in that it offers teachers a deep dive not just into the content but the pedagogy of teaching the Holocaust. I feel more confident in my ability to tackle this topic in a way that my students understand and learn how to be upstanders in our community.
— History teacher, Auckland (Participant, 2025 Seminar)
